About The Position

The Ovative Group Analyst, Digital Experience Optimization (DXO) role offers early-career candidates the opportunity to build foundational skills in website and app optimization, analytics, UX, and experimentation while working alongside experienced strategists and client partners. The ideal candidate is curious, data-driven, and motivated to learn how digital experiences impact business outcomes. At the Analyst level, individuals will support DXO initiatives through hands-on analysis, testing execution, and performance reporting, with increasing ownership as skills develop. The Analyst experience at Ovative: Analysts participate in a structured onboarding bootcamp to learn Ovative’s business model, tools, and approach to digital optimization Analysts work closely with senior team members on live client work and receive regular feedback and coaching Opportunities to interact with senior leaders through project work and informational conversations

Requirements

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills through academic projects, internships, or other experiences
  • Ability to break down problems and approach them in a structured way
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, including comfort summarizing data insights for various audiences
  • High attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, organized work
  • Ability to balance multiple competing priorities and manage multiple project timelines
  • Ability to work collaboratively and manage interactions professionally
  • Willingness to take ownership of tasks and follow through on commitments
  • Familiarity with basic tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, PowerPoint, or Google Slides

  • Exposure to digital marketing, analytics, UX, CRO, or experimentation through coursework, internships, or projects
  • Familiarity with analytics or testing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Optimizely, VWO, Adobe Target, etc.)
  • Interest in website/app performance, user behavior, or digital customer journeys

Responsibilities

  • Analyze qualitative and quantitative data from client websites and apps to understand customer behavior and identify optimization opportunities
  • Evaluate business objectives, competitive landscapes, and performance trends to support data-driven recommendations
  • Conduct quantitative analysis using tools such as Excel, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar platforms
  • Employ qualitative research methodologies including usability testing and UX audits to identify friction points throughout the user journey
  • Support weekly and monthly reporting by validating data, summarizing results, and highlighting key insights
  • Assess digital analytics tagging and data quality; assist in identifying opportunities to improve measurement and decision-making
  • Support conversion rate optimization (CRO) programs across websites and apps by analyzing test performance and outcomes
  • Assist in the execution of A/B and multivariate tests, including test setup, QA, and coordination with creative and development partners
  • Monitor experiment performance and document learnings and results
  • Translate testing outcomes into clear insights and recommendations for internal teams and client-facing materials
  • Seek to understand client business goals and how DXO work supports broader media and measurement strategies
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with media, analytics, and strategy teammates
  • Support client-facing meetings through preparation, note-taking, and follow-ups
  • Contribute to client deliverables including slides, documentation, and summaries of findings
  • Strive to be the best interaction of the client’s day
  • Clearly communicate results, insights, and next steps through written and verbal updates
  • Manage assigned workstreams independently with initial direction and ongoing support
