About The Position

The Role As an Analyst, Data Analytics & Insights at Fidelity Investments, you will hold a key position in our Legal, Risk, and Compliance (LRC) organization. This opportunity allows you to work alongside Corporate Audit, business, risk, and IT teams to surface insights that guide decision-making and lower risk. You will be involved in all aspects of data analytics projects, including defining business questions, sourcing and assembling data, carrying out advanced analytics, and sharing your conclusions. Your contributions will yield valuable insights and innovative data-driven solutions applied company-wide!
The Team The Legal, Risk, and Compliance (LRC) group at Fidelity concentrates on defending our customers, employees, and brand. Experts in Corporate Audit, Risk, Security, and Customer Protection & Financial Intelligence partner with business units and executive management to uncover and address various risks. We strive to cultivate a culture of inclusion and collaboration to produce excellent results for our clients and organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent experience, ideally in an analytics or technical subject area
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience building or querying relational databases or big data environments leveraging languages such as SQL, R, Python.
• Have proven analytical/problem-solving skills with capability to determine solutions to unusual and complex problems
• Strong attention to detail, collaborative and ability to multi-task and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
• Experience developing interactive dashboards and reports using visualization tools such as Tableau.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of the financial services industry, particularly in the retail and institutional businesses
• Experience leveraging Robotics Processing Automation software, specifically Blue Prism
• Experience working with off-premises processing and data storage (AWS, Azure, other Cloud solutions)
• Experience in an Audit, Compliance, Risk, or Security function is a plus
