We have an exciting opportunity for an Analyst, Contracts role within Land & Air Defense Systems (LADS) Business Unit of Global Patriot Programs, US Sustainment Portfolio. This team focuses on contractual administration and compliance, support proposal development and negotiation that serve the critical needs of Patriot Warfighter efforts. Our Contracts teammates are valued business partners, influencing and executing balanced business deals and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, all in support of the products and services we deliver to our customers. Working as a strategic business partner within Raytheon, our Contracts professionals fuel powerful ideas, develop meaningful relationships, and work together to achieve and exceed business goals, with an aim to ensure mutual long-term success. This position offers a broad opportunity to engage in various contract activities including contract administration, data analysis, reporting to internal/external customers, support of negotiations and TINA certifications to meet fast pace proposal development and submittal, and contract awards.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and less than 2 years prior relevant experience
  • Experience with one or more of the following: Contracts, Supply Chain, Procurement/Acquisitions or Finance

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS)
  • Ability to understand the financial aspects of contracts and risk quantification
  • Demonstrated ability to develop effective relationships with customers and internal partners based on understanding, teamwork, and trust
  • Experience working is a fast-paced environment, where prioritization is required to be effective
  • Contractual acumen with proficiency in contracts fundamentals

Responsibilities

  • General Contract administration and compliance
  • Contract negotiation support
  • Proposal support to include analysis of Request for Proposals, coordinating reviews, TINA documentation, and working closely with Program Directors, Program Managers, Chief Engineers, Business Managers, Estimating and Supply Chain in the proposal process
  • Support of Program Management Reviews and contract data inputs/analysis
  • Ensuring that negotiated terms and conditions comply with company policies
  • Advising management of contractual rights and obligations and possible mitigation of contractual/program risks
  • Domestic travel may be required (approximately once or twice per year to Huntsville, AL or the greater Boston, MA area). Typical duration of travel is 2-4 days
