Summary: In this role, you will be part of the Enterprise Data Management team. You will identify opportunities for members to realize significant supply cost reductions and operating efficiencies through a combination of contract maximization, standardization, and utilization processes. You will assign and update United Nations Standard Products & Service Code (UNSPSC) assignments and guidelines applying categorization. You will research and address stakeholder inquiries of UNSPSC categorization values.

Requirements

  • High School diploma required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2 or more years of relevant experience required.
  • Clinical hospital experience required; RN, LVN, CST or RT preferred.
  • Candidate must have at least two years of Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory experience.
  • Must be self-motivated and take accountability and ownership of work.
  • Must be attentive to detail, flexible and enjoy working as part of a team.
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Must possess at least a working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of products.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous hospital experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Clinical Analysts that are performing quality assurance on functional equivalents, product attributes, and classification to UNSPSC and Vizient Contract categories including the Vizient Spend Category to UNSPSC mapping initiative.
  • Create and manage, with oversight, data flow processes and quality audits for the Product Enrichment team.
  • Collaborate with other teams and suppliers when necessary to resolve product or data issues to ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Assist with planning by participating in stakeholder meetings to gather requirements and/or understand current business processes.
