About The Position

Maintain and provide ongoing support and optimization of Baptist OneCare (Epic). Possess clinical, financial, technical or application knowledge and experience. Perform system builds, upgrades, and system enhancements as directed. Support application through all phases of implementation, optimization, and maintenance. Exercise discretion and judgment in the performance of original, creative, intellectual work. Incumbent is subject to overtime, callback, and on-call as required. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum: Education from an accredited institution or experience as listed. Education of certificate program or two year college degree; Completion of Epic certification within 90 days of completing training.
  • 3 years experience in related field dependent on education.
  • Preferred: Experience in project management and/or system implementations.
  • Minimum: Proven combination of experience that demonstrates knowledge of healthcare issues, systems issues, software design and integration.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in clinical, financial or technical applications or related department operations.
  • Minimum: Proficiency in communicating and performing the techniques of information systems assessment and implementation.
  • Project management and organization skills.
  • Proficiency in communicating and performing Information System assessments.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred: Project management or Information Technology training.

Responsibilities

  • Supports implementation of Baptist OneCare and associated projects to meet organizational objectives and strategies.
  • Completes system build of enhancements and requests as directed.
  • Completes testing of software applications using established standards and protocols.
  • Provides ongoing support and maintenance of Epic and other applications under area of responsibility.
  • Completes assigned goals.
