We are currently seeking a Bill of Material Analyst for our Sidney, OH location. This role is crucial in creating and maintaining accurate multi-level Bills of Material (BOM) and Item Master records for Finished Goods, which support order management, manufacturing, material requirements, and cost management. The analyst will also be responsible for managing nameplate and product information for customer databases, ensuring compliance with customer requirements and operating system standards. As a Bill of Material Analyst, you will coordinate information from various cross-functional areas, including Engineering, Design, Change Control, Regulatory Agencies, and Product Planning. You will construct BOMs and nameplate information based on inputs from these areas and will need to understand operating systems like Oracle to apply Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) effectively. Your role will involve active engagement in cross-functional communication to ensure the accuracy and timely maintenance of BOMs and product information. You will evaluate all requests to update BOMs and nameplates, ensuring compliance with customer requirements and product planning goals. Additionally, you will participate in all BOM-related support for Design and Engineering, making this a dynamic and impactful position within our organization.
