About the position

As an Analyst – BCG Vantage within BCG's PIPE Practice Area, you will work in a growing global team, providing capabilities and insights, working together with BCG case and proposal teams to deliver customized knowledge assets and expert advisory. Additionally, you will support the PIPE practice in developing existing & new intellectual property and knowledge assets. You will work on commercialization efforts with business leaders, supporting marketing efforts, conferences and publications. As an Analyst – BCG Vantage you will assist with on-boarding, training and guiding junior colleagues and share best practices within the team. BCG’s PIPE Practice Area works with the world’s largest investment firms, serving eight client asset classes: Private Equity, Sovereign Wealth Funds, Pension Plans, Family Offices, Tech Capital, Global Asset Managers, Infrastructure Investors & Real Estate, and Hedge Funds. Likewise, PIPE topics cut across not only these asset classes, but also across industries (e.g., Health Care, Consumer, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Apply expertise on PIPE content when contributing to building and deploying a product/tool/data, taking different client contexts into account.
  • Work collaboratively and effectively in a group dynamic often virtual, proficient in agile ways of working.
  • Communicate with senior stakeholders, being credible and proactive.
  • Frame, structure, and share intellectual property, with the ability to write clearly and concisely.
  • Work creatively and analytically in a time-limited, problem-solving environment.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and bring a curious and creative mindset, open for new things and able to propose innovative ideas.
  • Navigate complexity and ambiguity.
  • Interact with internal and external stakeholders while working in a global collaborative team environment.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in a relevant area; 1+ year of relevant work experience.
  • Or Bachelor's degree, with 1+ year consulting experience or 2+ years of relevant industry work experience.
  • Strong quantitative analysis skills preferred.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Strong business acumen and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Will not require employer sponsorship to work legally in the United States of America.
