Team Overview
Aksia’s real assets investment team is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and investing in real asset primary funds and co-investments. The firm's 17 real assets investment professionals oversaw $58billion of real assets under supervision as of December 31, 2025.
Position Overview
Aksia is seeking an Analyst or Associate to join its real assets investment team in New York, NY. The role will focus primarily on real asset fund investments, with an emphasis on infrastructure and natural resources. The successful candidate will work closely with senior investment professionals and collaborate across the broader real assets platform, including co-investments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with strong academics in finance, economics, business or a related field
• 1-3 years of relevant experience at an institutional investment firm, asset manager, or other financial institution, ideally with exposure to underwriting real assets investments
• Strong analytical capabilities and financial modeling skills
• Excellent qualitative assessment skills, with the ability to identify, synthesize, and communicate key investment merits and risks
• Clear, concise, and effective written and verbal communication skills
• High degree of initiative, intellectual curiosity, integrity, and commercial judgment
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented, global environment

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive qualitative and quantitative fund due diligence, including detailed performance and attribution analysis
• Prepare investment memorandums and supporting materials for presentation to Aksia’s Investment Committee
• Collaborate closely with senior investment professionals on a variety of real asset verticals
• Monitor market trends, industry developments, and relevant macroeconomic factors impacting the real asset markets
• Support ongoing portfolio monitoring activities, including manager reviews and performance analysis
• Build and maintain relationships with general partners and industry participants to support a robust and active investment pipeline
