About The Position

Working within the Global Private Equity (GPE) group, the candidate will support the US Buyout Product Specialists. Periodic interaction with limited partners and potential investors will be required to complete various assignments. This candidate must be able to prioritize multiple tasks, demonstrate attention to detail, and work under pressure in a deadline-oriented environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum of 2 years of analytical and presentation experience required
  • A strong understanding of financial markets and/or experience with Private Equity required
  • Experience at an alternative investment firm, an alternative investment placement firm, an investment bank or a consultant is required

Responsibilities

  • Support entire fund lifecycle, including fundraising and ongoing investor relations
  • Develop deep product knowledge and expertise
  • Create and maintain marketing and diligence materials, including presentations, investor updates, data room contents, and thought-leadership content
  • Prepare and manage existing and prospective client requests, including RFPs, DDQs, and other due diligence requests
  • Support the strategy and coordination for client meetings and events, global roadshows, webinar events, and investor conferences
  • Source and analyze industry research related to fundraising, including preparing analysis of the competitive landscape
  • Utilize technical skills to prepare bespoke, data-driven fundraising and investor analyses
  • Partner with key stakeholders (such as professionals across Investor Relations, Investment Teams, Corporate Affairs, Fund Management, Legal, Compliance) to promote engagement and alignment across the business to execute on the fundraising strategy and achieve positive client experience
  • Support Carlyle's Compliance objectives by liaising with the Legal and Compliance Department
  • Complete special projects as needed
