About The Position

The #1 Extel ranked Brokers, Asset Managers, & Exchanges Research team covers over 30 stocks including Blackstone, BlackRock and Robinhood with high investor interest, secular growth and an IPO pipeline. We are looking for someone with a strong analytical skillset and a passion for investing. We are targeting a candidate with 1-3 years of experience in finance. In the role, the candidate will work closely with both the Senior Analyst and 4 other team members in all aspects (research, financial modeling, idea generation, corporate access, IPOs), Responsibilities Perform complex financial modeling & valuation work Write regular industry and company reports and company launch initiations from scratch Develop databases integral to our research product Demonstrate strong industry knowledge and business judgment Work with Senior Analysts to develop key industry themes Build relationships and facilitate information flow with contacts at covered companies Participate and contribute to client meetings and events Attend meetings and interact with key opinion leaders Closely follow and understand market, industry and company specific activity Seek out new, unusual sources of information Interact regularly with clients Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of experience Interest in the financial sector and markets Min 1-3 years of experience focusing on equity research, financial services, buy side, or investment banking Strong writing and modeling skills. Must be an expert at MS Word and MS Excel Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced and intense environment Must have excellent communications skills, written and verbal Must enjoy following the stock market and doing desktop and field research Along with Finance and Accounting, should have basic understanding of economics, macroeconomic factors, international affairs, and policy/politics Must have strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task Must work well in a collaborative team environment

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of experience
  • Interest in the financial sector and markets
