This position will be responsible for completing commercial valuations on all major property types. SitusAMC's appraisers get the opportunity to work on institutional properties located across the U.S. In addition, this position would also include assisting with our national clients, which include some of the largest and most prominent financial institutions, pension funds and insurance companies in the U.S., and involves portfolio work.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above - Preferred fields of study include Real Estate, Accounting, Finance or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Entry level professional with 0-2 years of industry and/or relevant experience, typically at an Analyst level role or external equivalent
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• MS Office Suite including Outlook, Excel, Power Point and Word, Argus

Nice To Haves

• Prior commercial real estate valuation experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Performing valuations
• Lead a team of valuation professionals by providing guidance and quality control
• Manage workflow to produce on time deliveries
• Help execute portfolio valuations and large consulting engagements through implementation of organizational and technical skills
• Communication/coordinate with market participants, clients, and co-workers
• Research property and market information
• Inspect properties
• Analyze subject and comparable data
• Develop appraisal and consulting reports and other deliverables
• Resolve non-compliant issues through verbal and written communication with client or other involved parties
• Work independently on projects and collaborate ‘face to face' as a team player
• Other activities as may be assigned by your manager
