About The Position

The Applications Analyst II is responsible for supporting and optimizing system/application functionality, with a clear understanding of both system capabilities and associated departmental workflows.

Requirements

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work across teams and effectively support end users
• Problem-solving mindset with a focus on practical and efficient solutions
• High School Diploma or GED
• Two (2) years of experience in application support or application training
• EPIC certification is required within 6 months of date of hire/transfer into position if supporting an Epic application

Nice To Haves

• Degree in an applicable field (Business Administration, Allied Health, Computer Science, etc.)
• Three (3) years' experience with analysis, content building and project management in the applicable application or Epic module
• Technical certification(s)

Responsibilities

• Possesses a strong understanding of systems functionality and/or departmental processes related to supported systems and applications
• Analyzes, interprets, and distributes documentation related to system/application functionality, upgrades, and enhancements
• Devises or modifies procedures to resolve complex problems, taking into account system limitations
• May lead multiple phases of a project, including planning, execution, and implementation
• Instructs system users on appropriate workflows and usage of the application(s)
• Works both independently and collaboratively within a solution-oriented, customer-focused environment
