Analyst, Alarm Central Location: Bentonville, AR with potential to be temporarily located in Pineville, MO during disaster recovery scenarios.Employment Type: Full-Time, In-OfficeDepartment: Alarm Central, Global Security About Security Service The Security Service team supports enterprise-wide alarm monitoring, system configuration, and technician enablement to ensure the reliability, accuracy, and performance of life‑safety and intrusion detection systems. This role is central to maintaining high‑quality alarm programming, communication integrity, and monitoring platform accuracy across all supported technologies. What you'll do: Drive Accuracy in Alarm Panel Programming & Configuration - Program, configure, and maintain Bosch intrusion and fire alarm panels, including communication paths, reporting formats, areas, points, and user structures.- Provide real-time, phone-based support to technicians during installation and service calls.- Maintain programming templates, documentation standards, and best‑practice guidelines. Support Fire‑Lite & Edwards Fire System Integration - Assist with integration of Fire‑Lite and Edwards fire systems into the monitoring environment.- Validate point mapping, device reporting, and signal routing for accuracy.- Troubleshoot mismatched signals, missing device reports, and communication failures. Configure Monitoring Platform - Add and maintain customer accounts, zones, event codes, routing rules, and reporting logic.- Maintain dispatch agencies, contact lists, and escalation paths.- Map incoming alarm signals to correct workflows and automation rules.- Validate reporting formats including SIA, and Contact ID. Maintain Alarm Receiver Network Database - Create and maintain account records within the alarm receiver network database.- Conduct periodic audits and implement lifecycle updates to ensure ongoing data accuracy.- Resolve database issues that impact reporting or routing functionality.Troubleshoot Alarm Communication Paths- Diagnose issues involving IP, cellular, dual‑path, Contact ID, and SIA communication.- Guide technicians through communication tests and diagnostics over the phone.- Confirm end‑to-end reporting functionality during installations or service tickets.Provide Technician Support & Knowledge Sharing- Assist field technicians with programming steps, communication corrections, and diagnostic workflows.- Document procedures and solutions for cross‑team learning and efficiency.Ensure Quality & Compliance- Follow internal standards and industry requirements for configuration and programming.- Support UL/NFPA compliance, monitoring system audits, and accuracy checks.- Maintain thorough documentation of updates and changes.
