As an Analog IC Design Engineering Intern at Texas Instruments, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of electronics by architecting new products that bring customer visions to life. This position involves defining, designing, modeling, implementing, and documenting various types of integrated circuits (ICs), including analog, digital, Power, and RF ICs. You will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects across multiple domains such as audio, imaging, high-speed interfaces, clocking, medical applications, automotive systems, storage solutions, power supply management, and battery management, among others. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with business teams and system engineering to develop design specifications that meet mutual goals. You will conduct high-level analyses and comparisons of chip or block architecture trade-offs to ensure compliance with specifications while maintaining superior performance at competitive costs. Additionally, you will design innovative intellectual property (IP) in conjunction with a mentor and participate in design reviews, creating the necessary documentation to present your designs to the team. You will also supervise IC layouts to uphold high-performance standards, characterize prototypes, develop test specifications, and coordinate with test and product engineering teams to facilitate product releases. Furthermore, you will be responsible for developing behavioral models for system-level simulations, which are essential for validating the performance of your designs. This internship offers a unique opportunity to put your talent to work in a dynamic environment where you can contribute to groundbreaking technology and innovation.
