About The Position

As an Analog IC Design Engineering Intern at Texas Instruments, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of electronics by architecting new products that bring our customers' visions to life. This position involves defining, designing, modeling, implementing, and documenting a variety of integrated circuits (ICs), including analog, digital, Power, and RF ICs. You will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects across multiple domains such as audio, imaging, high-speed interfaces, clocking, medical applications, automotive systems, storage solutions, power supply management, and battery management, among others. In this internship, you will partner with business teams and system engineering to develop mutually agreeable design specifications. You will be responsible for providing high-level analysis and comparison of chip or block architecture trade-offs to ensure compliance with specifications while maintaining superior performance at a competitive cost. You will also design innovative future-looking intellectual property (IP) in collaboration with a mentor and participate in design reviews, creating the necessary documentation to present your designs to the team. Additionally, you will supervise IC layouts to ensure they meet high-performance standards, characterize prototypes, develop test specifications, and coordinate with test/product engineering to drive product releases. Developing behavioral models for system-level simulations will also be part of your responsibilities, allowing you to contribute significantly to the product development process.
