The Kilby Analog Design Engineering Intern at Texas Instruments is a pivotal role within the central research and development organization, focusing on architecting new semiconductor products. The intern will engage in defining, designing, modeling, implementing, and documenting various integrated circuits (ICs) including analog, digital, Power, and RF solutions, particularly for the Enterprise and Automotive markets.

  • Design and define power solutions in the Enterprise or Automotive market.
  • Perform topology selection and comparison, system modeling, and optimization.
  • Engage in hardware design and testing.
  • Develop advanced system, packaging technology, and/or analog IP to create differentiating performance.
  • Currently pursuing a graduate degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with a concentration on power electronics or power management system design.
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher.
  • Hands-on experience designing and building DC/DC or AC/DC power solutions with discrete GaN or Si LDMOS or CMOS.
  • Proficient with at least one spice-based circuit simulator.
  • Published work in Tier 1 IEEE Journals or Conferences.
  • Strong technical curiosity and drive to seek answers.
  • Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions.
