About The Position

The Food Trailer Worker is a key member of the food and beverage team, responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food in a fast-paced food trailer operation while also assisting with food preparation for suite catering. This role ensures smooth day-of-show service, upholding high standards in food preparation, cleanliness, and customer service. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with a positive and team-oriented attitude.
  • Flexibility with scheduling, including nights, weekends, and event days.
  • Food handler’s certification preferred.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
  • Comfortable with consistently adhering to the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, ethics and confidentiality.
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
  • Strong communications skills and the ability to interact with many different types of people.
  • An ongoing desire to learn and improve.
  • Ability to work independently as well as with others to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.

  • Prior experience in food service, food trucks, catering, or concessions is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Represent Walton Arts Center / Walmart AMP at both on and off-site events, as requested.
  • Maintain professional working relationships with teammates, fellow staff members from other departments, vendors, patrons, and tenants of leased spaces.
  • Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor.
  • Maintain security and safety requirements as defined by operations guidelines.
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards for both the food trailer and suite catering.
  • Assist in assembling and packaging food orders for suite guests, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Maintain food safety and sanitation standards, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
  • Monitor stock levels and restock ingredients and supplies as needed.
  • Operate food trailer equipment, including grills, fryers, and warming stations.
  • Provide friendly and efficient service, ensuring a positive guest experience.
  • Take and process orders accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
  • Address guest inquiries and concerns in a professional manner.
  • Assist with special requests and dietary accommodation when possible.
  • Assist with the setup and breakdown of the food trailer before and after each event.
  • Support suite catering by preparing and organizing food for delivery.
  • Keep the trailer and prep areas clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout service.
  • Follow all closing procedures, including equipment cleaning and waste disposal.
  • Assist in loading and unloading supplies for events.

  • Must be able to work in large, crowded environments, with flashing lights, loud music and noises, pyrotechnics, and cannons as part of shows and events.
