About The Position

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Assist in managing timely provision of Ammunition and Explosives (A&E) logistical support services – receipt, storage, issue, inventory accountability, explosive safety risks monitoring and mitigation, storage facilities use, physical security, preparation for demilitarization, preparation for shipping, and transport of A&E – that are fully compliant with applicable governing policies, regulations, rules, and procedures – importantly including but not limited to Army Regulation (AR) 190-11, Physical Security of Arms, Ammunition, and Explosives; and, Department of Army Pamphlet (DA PAM) 385-64, Ammunition and Explosives Safety Standards – to support six test divisions’ Test and Evaluation (T&E) and other projects. • Be a liaison to the RTC Logistics (S-4) Department, Redstone Arsenal Ammunition Supply Point (ASP), U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM) Quality Assurance Specialist (Ammunition Surveillance) (QASAS), and other external organizations concerning A&E logistics management matters. • Subject matter expert about A&E logistics management.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
  • Satisfactory background screening, negative drug test, positive references and proof of identity and legal authorization to work in the United States are required.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficient user of Microsoft’s Office 365 suite of software and applications (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Microsoft’s SharePoint.
  • Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), preferably Class A with hazardous materials endorsement.
  • Ten (10) years’ AA&E logistics experience, civilian or military.
  • Prior military AA&E logistics experience.
  • Forklift operation experience.
  • Total Ammunition Management Information System (TAMIS) experience.
  • U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command Ammunition Tracking System (AMCATS) experience.
