About The Position

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. · Daily operation/maintenance of ammonia refrigeration systems · Daily operation/maintenance of boilers, pumps, and water feed systems · Daily operation/maintenance of CFC refrigeration and A/C systems · Daily testing and treating of boiler and cooling water systems · Daily operation/maintenance of compressed air systems · Daily operation/maintenance of vacuum pumps/systems · Ability to read and follow system drawings, manuals, and P & ID drawings · Ability to understand/comply with Process Safety Management guidelines · Building maintenance QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Minimum of 3 years in operation and maintenance of ammonia refrigeration systems, boilers, and CFC (Freon) refrigeration systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before employees of organization.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
