The position involves installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery, equipment, physical structures, plumbing, various types of ammonia, Freon and/or CO2 refrigeration equipment, and electrical systems as instructed by leadership while adhering to all regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures. The role requires periodic testing and inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications of refrigeration systems. Key duties include maintaining, repairing, and performing evaluations and preventative and predictive maintenance on electrical apparatus, motors, wiring, and electronic components of machinery and equipment per electrical codes and standards. The position also involves maintaining and repairing refrigeration systems, building infrastructure, and material handling equipment, as well as logging all performed work into the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) daily. Communication of pertinent information regarding equipment operation and maintenance to leadership is essential, along with the completion of other assigned tasks.
