The Ammonia Refrigeration Maintenance Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of ammonia refrigeration equipment, machinery, physical structures, plumbing, and electrical systems. This role requires adherence to all regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures, as well as following leadership instructions. The technician will also ensure the design specifications of refrigeration systems are met through periodic testing and inspections. The position involves completing work order tasks, logging all performed work into a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) daily, and reporting inspections, evaluations, and preventive maintenance information to leadership.
