Job Duties and Responsibilities: • Operate, monitor, and maintain industrial ammonia refrigeration systems supporting high-volume food production • Perform maintenance on high-pressure boilers, air compressors, and air handlers • Service HVAC and refrigeration equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations • Troubleshoot mechanical and refrigeration issues to minimize downtime Follow and enforce IIAR, OSHA, and plant safety procedures Be able to perform work duties while not supervised and report them to their supervisor High a backround in low voltage, 480 volt electric, Be able to recognize the refrigeration system is out of parameters and take corrective action to fix the issue. Minimum Qualifications: · Has completed or is working on a 2-year trades degree and/or 4 years of plant maintenance experience. · High school diploma or equivalent. · Must be 18 years of age. · Able to read, write and speak English. Bilingual capabilities are a plus. · Able to communicate and take direction from Sanitation Manager and communicate effectively with line workers, Leads, Supervisors and Plant Manager. · Attention to detail. · Legible record-keeping and data entry skills. · Must be highly motivated, flexible and have creative problem-solving abilities. · Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. · Welding and fabrication, full understanding of 3 Phase electrical, tree phase motor controls. Troubleshoot AC & DC drives. Work Environment and Physical Requirements: ● Manufacturing environment - exposure to a variety of machines, noise levels, and varying temperatures. ● Depending on which location, our environments can be very warm or refrigerated. ● Team environment - must be able to work well with others and communicate in a respectful and professional manner. ● Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 60 pounds. ● May be required to work weekend and night hours to fill in as needed. Starting Pay: Maintenance Technician $33.50/hr. a shift differential is offered for 3rd shift opportunities. We offer a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees including health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the 90th day of employment.
