About The Position

Support plant operations and development of systems that handle anhydrous ammonia Risk Management Program (RMP) and OSHA’s Process Safety Management (PSM) Operate and maintain ammonia refrigeration, compressors, condensers, pumps, water tube boiler, compressed air equipment. Maintain operating records for steam and refrigeration equipment Electrical experience necessary (schematics, trouble shooting, wiring), electrical motor installation Strong mechanical repair experience with machinery in a manufacturing environment. Able to calibrate instruments and control valves Understand and promote sound Preventative and Predictive Maintenance Programs Troubleshoot utility systems to prevent a stop in production. Minimize equipment downtime. Work with outside contractors on projects related to facilities and utilities repairs, modifications, and installations.

Requirements

• Two-year technical degree or at least 2-4 years’ school and experience with industrial Utilities Maintenance, Ammonia Refrigeration, Boilers, Waste Water, and Air Compressors principles in a manufacturing environment.
