About The Position

Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) serves over 5 million customers who use ConEd services daily. The AMI team is focused on providing improved services for both external and internal customers. The AMI team works collaboratively to implement enhancements for AMI systems, design integrations and create use cases to better serve internal customers such as Customer Operations, Electric Operations, Customer Service/Billing, Gas Operations, among others. These technology innovations are driving business changes that will impact every ConEd customer. In this role, you will serve as a direct link between ConEd and the customer experience to provide exceptional customer service and to be an intricate team member. The Associate will serve within the AMI IT Project Management Office (PMO) as part of the Finance Team. This role focuses on supporting project accounting and financial management activities for ongoing and upcoming projects. The Associate will be responsible for planning and organizing project-related tasks, collecting and analyzing project forecasts, coordinating financial reporting, and maintaining up-to-date status reports for all projects. Key responsibilities include reviewing financial aspects of projects to ensure alignment with organizational goals, assisting with project budgets and expenditures, and supporting day-to-day PMO accounting operations. The Associate will work closely with team members and managers to develop project financial plans and ensure accurate documentation. Additionally, the Associate will provide recurring updates on project financial progress to various management levels and team members.
