About The Position
The AMI Analyst participates in the planning, management, and administration of AMI Headend Software and Meter Data Management (MDM). This role ensures that data from all AMI head-end systems and MDMs is ready for Utility Billing and other downstream system consumption. The analyst maintains the read performance of the Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) systems, ensuring the integrity, reliability, accuracy, and availability of meter data are always maintained. The position involves troubleshooting issues to provide optimum system performance and collaborating with outside vendors and data users across the Utility to ensure utility billing accuracy. The analyst also participates in transforming business needs into technical requirements.
