Position Summary In your role as an Automated Material Handling Engineer you'll support long-term projects in semiconductor manufacturing automation including controlling self-driving vehicles running 24x7 on the rails and storage inside the factory floor. In this role, you will work closely with other operations engineers, providing engineering support for Automated Material Handling Systems (AMHS) to find ways to improve the full automation system performance. You will also be responsible for configuring, troubleshooting, and improving the AMHS systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, System).
  • 1 to 5 years of experience in System Engineering industry experience.
  • UNIX and Linux system administration skills, experience working with servers.
  • SQL Database experience and Data Visualization skills.
  • Look for opportunities to simplify and automate tasks across the operation.
  • Ability to work in a cleanroom Fab environment as needed

Nice To Haves

  • Semiconductor and robotics hardware experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Managing multiple semiconductor manufacturing software applications, including Material Control System (MCS), Master Control Processor (MCP), and internal monitoring system application.
  • Improving the reliability and sustainability of System through configuration optimization and pre-task plan release management.
  • Analyzing Data and lead the optimization effort on creating new manufacturing system logic to improve system performance and reduce costs.
  • Configuring all Fab Process Tool equipment and devices, and maintain system user interface inside the system for tool automation.
  • Planning preventative maintenance activities and setup application system on Linux and Windows server.
  • Providing 24x7 system operation support and troubleshoot for any system issues within the Automated Material Handling System.
  • Creating standard operation procedure, technical documentation for best practice.
