San Diego Brainworks is seeking a highly motivated Therapist to join our professional, agile, and collaborative team. Our organization is composed of skilled neuropsychologists and clinical psychologists who specialize in understanding brain functions and addressing cognitive challenges in various settings, including school, home, and work. We aim to provide comprehensive evaluations and treatments for a range of cognitive, behavioral, academic, medical, and emotional concerns. Our ultimate goal is to help clients and their families understand the potential causes of their concerns, consider diagnostic options, and receive specific treatment recommendations that lead to happier, healthier, and more balanced lives. In this role, you will be responsible for providing individual therapy, facilitating group sessions, and offering family therapy. You will also coordinate care with other members of the client's treatment team. Your duties will include conducting clinical assessments, managing ongoing utilization, and actively participating in a multidisciplinary treatment team. The position may require you to work day and evening shifts, depending on client needs. You will utilize your knowledge of various therapeutic models and theories to develop intervention strategies tailored to a diverse patient population. Monitoring patient progress and adjusting therapeutic approaches based on evidence-based practices will be key components of your role. Additionally, you may have the opportunity to facilitate group therapy sessions at our residential facility as well as in PHP/IOP/OP settings. Experience in counseling or group facilitation within the substance abuse or mental health field is preferred. You will provide evidence-based treatments, including but not limited to DBT, CBT, ACT, and exposure-based therapies, particularly for patients dealing with ADHD, anxiety, depression, and autism spectrum disorders. Participation in clinical team meetings will also be part of your responsibilities, ensuring a collaborative approach to patient care.
