About The Position

To load trailers/trucks with finished products in safe and efficient manner. Will receive inbound raw materials, and supplies. All warehouse activities to be performed in accordance Valley Milk, LLC, regulatory, and SQF requirements.

Requirements

High School Diploma/GED and at least 1 year experience on sit down forklift/riding pallet jack required.
Proficient in basic math and reading comprehension.
Must attain a Forklift Operator License within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

Load/unload trailer/trucks with product.
Operate forklift in safe manner.
Report maintenance issues as they occur and submit work orders when necessary.
Follows all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and work in a manner consistent with all company, regulatory quality, and sanitation requirements.
Maintain accurate inventory records to ensure accuracy of overall inventory counts.
Handle cleaning chemicals in a safe manner utilizing safety equipment such as gloves, eyewear, etc.
Clear cardboard, trash, and excess pallets from loading dock and receiving areas.
Maintain safe environment and always perform other duties in a safe manner.
Assist in training new operators.
Ability to function in a team-based structure and positively contributes to team-based efforts.
Other duties as assigned.
