AmeriCorps University Leader – MINNESOTA Employment Status/hours: In-Person; Part-time; Monday - Friday (during traditional school hours) Start Date: August 2026 End Date: May 2027 Compensation Living Stipend $$251.40/biweekly Segal Education Award valued at $1565.08 amount represents the 2025-2026 service year and may be subject to change. Our Impact 80% of College Possible students are admitted to college 86% of College Possible students enroll in college 93,000+ students served nationwide since 2000 University Leaders Our University Leader The University Leader Program exists to help College Possible students earn degrees by strengthening their campus connections through a supportive peer network. University Leaders are responsible for fostering a greater sense of College Possible community at their institutions. We are seeking current CP students who hope to create a social network of College Possible students on their college campuses and mutually empower one another to thrive though hosting College Possible events, social outings and sharing thoughtful feedback to the University Leaders Coordinator. Through this service year opportunity, our University Leaders develop leadership skills, participate in professional development workshops, engage in public speaking and much more. What You'll Do The University Leaders service positions focus on building community connectedness and being available for current College Possible students as peer support. Requirements

  • You are a U.S. citizen; AmeriCorps members are required to be U.S. citizens, nationals, or lawful permanent residents
  • Must be a College Possible program participant attending University of Minnesota- Twin Cities,, University of Saint Thomas, Augsburg University, St Catherine University, or Hamline University
  • Must be currently enrolled and plan to be enrolled through spring 2027
  • Must be in good academic standing (i.e. not on probation)
  • You must clear a National Service Criminal History Check and all other security and requirement set forth by College Possible and the school district in which you serve before the start of training
