About The Position

The Margarita Center project will have the number of 5 AmeriCorps members who will carry out activities focused on the development of self-help, sizing, socio-emotional, fine motor, art, scientific and literacy activities, as well as data entry and documentation of the services provided, in the center of Cidra and Caguas. By the end of this project year, AmeriCorps members are expected to have developed social-emotional and physical skills, language learning, cognitive learning, literacy learning, math learning, science and technology, and arts learning. Responsibilities

  • Record the data collected and generate reports on the services offered to children and young people with developmental disabilities.
  • Creation of activities focused on socioemotional aspects, physical and educational development for children and young people with deficiencies.
  • Exhibit through digital media the services and activities carried out at the Margarita center.
  • Record the data collected and generate reports from the personnel who offer direct service to the participants of centers.
  • Data entry and document filing activity.
