About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Productivity and Enablement Leader to support our Americas Enterprise and Commercial Sales team, including Account Executives and Sales Engineers. This Sales organization is focused on a Landing and Expanding in high Enterprise and Commercial Accounts for Commvault. Reporting to the Head of Global Productivity and Enablement, you will combine your past B2B Field Sales experience, your passion for success, and your coaching skills to drive operational excellence. This role requires you to be both a strategic thinker, as well as a practitioner - willing to engage tactically whenever necessary to drive that operational excellence. Your credibility as a past seller will be a driving force behind your success. This includes your ability to embed yourself into the field (virtually and in-person), gaining the intimate knowledge necessary to understand areas of strength that will shape best practices, as well as areas to improve. Using that insight, you will build, own, and execute the strategic plan designed to drive consistency and operational discipline based on those best practices.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of collective experience as a quota carrying Field B2B sales representative and Sales Enablement Specialist
  • Proven success in field
  • Proactive collaborator – confidence to drive meaningful engagement with Senior leaders and cross functional teams in a consultative manner including sharing your point of view, and jointly collaborating on solutions that will drive our success
  • High energy, engaging, and inspiring personality
  • Product and Industry Knowledge - stay abreast of our product portfolio, key benefits, business value, positioning, and differentiation in the market
  • Strategic and structured thinker. Ability to translate and frame business needs into a strategy and the tactical steps necessary to execute
  • BA or BS in a business or technical discipline

Responsibilities

  • Establish strong working relationships with Americas sales leaders and becoming an integral part of their extended team helping to improve productivity to accelerate growth
  • As an integral part of the team, identify and understand day-to-day challenges and will build programs to quickly close those gaps
  • Be the “go-to” person for all productivity and enablement requirements for the Americas Enterprise and Commercial Provide strategic guidance and thought leadership to Sales leaders on frameworks, tools or process improvements to ensure business success
  • Collaborate with your International Productivity peer on best practices to facilitate, actively promote, and influence adoption in the Americas as part of our overall effort to drive global consistency
  • Inspect and continually observe in-field activity through direct engagement to ensure that there is a disciplined approach to using the processes directed by Commvault to drive consistency and effectiveness (i.e., MEDDICC, Account Plan, Technical Opportunity Document, cadenced customer touchpoints, etc.)
  • Help shape and provide delivery assistance to Americas Onboarding and Ongoing training programs
  • Provide direction and guidance to Enablement leads on quarterly enablement requirements for the Americas Sales Team. This includes input to the content development team to ensure that the final learning deliverable addresses the needs of the field
  • Become an extension of the sales leadership by providing coaching to individual contributors or managers when needed to help drive operational excellence
  • Proactively collaborate and communicate across the enablement team to ensure that our efforts are aligned for efficiency
