Role Overview The Americas Transport Pricing Lead plays a critical role in shaping and executing pricing strategy across the transport business. This individual contributor role is responsible for guiding and supporting pricing operations—including list price adjustments and pricing communications—while maintaining data integrity within internal systems. A key focus of the role is working in close partnership with the Sales team to identify pricing alignment opportunities, evaluate customer proposals, and capitalize on margin improvement potential. The Pricing Lead will also interrogate product and margin data across families and segments to uncover strategic opportunities, develop actionable recommendations, and drive profitability wherever possible. This role blends tactical execution with strategic insight, serving as a trusted advisor to commercial teams and senior leadership. Success in this role begins with discipline—establishing strong pricing structures, standardizing processes, and ensuring the fundamentals are in place. From tariff management to pricing approvals, the Pricing Lead will help build a foundation of consistency and clarity that enables smarter strategy, faster execution, and stronger commercial outcomes. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives on both tactical precision and strategic impact.

  • Execute and implement pricing strategies across the Americas transport business, acting as an effectiveness multiplier through coaching and guidance
  • Partner closely with Sales to identify pricing alignment opportunities, support deal structuring, and maximize margin potential
  • Interrogate product and margin data across families and segments to uncover strategic opportunities and develop profit-maximizing recommendations
  • Manage and maintain tariff pricing structures, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with commercial objectives and market conditions
  • Lead the compilation, calculation, and cross-functional communication of standard and special list price changes
  • Develop and refine work processes for collaboration with Sales, Product Marketing, and Customer Service teams
  • Identify underperforming areas and develop actionable solutions to improve pricing outcomes
  • Guide analysis of business cases (e.g., “what-if” scenarios) related to pricing, sales, and gross margins to support senior management decision-making
  • Lead the creation of monthly and quarterly Selling Price Increase reports by sales representative for senior leadership
  • Develop and implement tools and reports to track the financial impact of pricing initiatives
  • Review and approve special pricing proposals in accordance with pricing policies, and recommend process improvements
  • Maintain pricing-related data and ensure accuracy within internal systems
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Demonstrate a technical understanding of pneumatic and electronic controls along with their application
  • Bachelor's degree (B. A. or B.S.) required with minimum of 4 years of work experience.
  • Strong analytical, statistics, organizational and communication skills are a must.
  • Ability to solve practical problems in a timely manner while dealing with a level of ambiguity.
