This role focuses on driving adoption of embedded data management and connectivity technologies across diagnostic devices, imaging platforms, patient monitoring systems, and high-performance, safety-critical medical electronics. You will work closely with medical device OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, healthcare technology innovators, and semiconductor partners across the Americas.

Requirements

  • Experience in medical devices, healthcare technology, life sciences instrumentation, or other regulated embedded systems industries.
  • Proven ability to drive enterprise-level sales cycles and influence stakeholders across engineering, regulatory/compliance, quality, and executive leadership.
  • Strong understanding of medical development processes (IEC 62304, ISO 14971), data integrity requirements, and safety or reliability considerations.
  • Ability to translate technical capabilities into compelling business value and ROI for clinical, operational, and product teams.
  • Strategic thinker with a customer-centric mindset and strong analytical ability.
  • High ethical standards and integrity, essential for regulated markets.
  • Good communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments and works effectively in a global, multicultural team

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets across the medical device and healthcare technology segments.
  • Identify, qualify, and win new business with medical OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, digital health companies, and technology ecosystem partners.
  • Expand Tuxera’s footprint within existing accounts through long-term platform, lifecycle, and design-in projects.
  • Drive revenue growth through embedded software licensing, integration projects, and multi-year product platform agreements.
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with engineering, regulatory, procurement, and program management stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with technical pre-sales, product management, and engineering teams to align our solutions with customer requirements (performance, data integrity, safety, compliance, cybersecurity).
  • Monitor medical industry trends, emerging technologies, regulatory shifts, and customer product roadmaps to inform business and product strategy.
  • Partner with strategic technology allies (e.g., semiconductor vendors, RTOS and middleware providers, medical software tool chain vendors) to create joint go-to-market opportunities.
