About The Position
The Department of Labor and Workforce Development, Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, is recruiting for an American Sign Language Interpreter located in Anchorage. This position provides American Sign Language services statewide in Alaska, both in person and on Zoom, to staff and participants. Opportunities to educate the community and businesses about Deaf culture are frequent and can be a rewarding experience which brings positive change to people's lives. The Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) assists hundreds of Alaskans with disabilities in preparing for, obtaining, and maintaining meaningful employment.
