About The Position
Yuba College is seeking an equity-minded, dynamic, collaborative, and innovative Instructor to serve as ASL Faculty. ESSENTIAL DUTIES : The person selected will be expected to: Develop and deliver instructional lectures for ASL courses Organize and teach all levels of ASL classes Create and maintain program certificates and/or degrees and articulation agreements Use appropriate teaching methods to facilitate student learning Assess Student Learning Outcomes every semester Participate in department, division, and college-wide meetings, initiatives and committee Prepare course syllabi and outlines Teach classes scheduled at a variety of times, including possible day and/or evening classes Work cooperatively with staff in related disciplines Participate in the shared-governance process. As part of a community of educators, the successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to participating in professional development opportunities that build effectiveness in areas of inclusion, intercultural communication, and advancing equity
Requirements
- Any associate or bachelor’s degree
- Professional experience related to the teaching assignment
