About The Position

This position involves teaching American Sign Language, Interpreting, and related courses for the Deaf Studies and Interpreting programs, including developing syllabi, instructional materials, activities, and assessments as assigned by the Program Director. The successful candidate will teach a variety of courses and engage with students to enhance their learning experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Deaf Studies, Interpreting, or a related field.
  • Experience in teaching American Sign Language and Interpreting courses.
  • Strong communication skills in American Sign Language.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • Experience with curriculum development.
  • Familiarity with online teaching platforms.
