About The Position
The Division of Academic & Student Affairs (DASA) at NC State is dedicated to fostering connections and community among students. It serves as a hub for students to seek guidance and support, both academically and personally. The NC State College Advising Corps (CAC) is an AmeriCorps program aimed at increasing post-secondary enrollment for low-income, first-generation, and underrepresented students in North Carolina. The program recruits recent college graduates to serve as "near peer" advisers in under-resourced high schools, focusing on closing the gap in college attainment and ensuring access to educational pathways beyond high school.
