About The Position

The Armed Forces SkillBridge program offers Service members the chance to gain valuable civilian work experience through industry training, apprenticeships, or internships during the last 180 days of service. Our goal is to connect Service Members with industry-leading careers and impactful work experiences, particularly in fields such as intelligence, national security, engineering, and more. This internship will be located at Schriever SFB, Colorado Springs, CO or Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, AL, and may require relocation for those outside these areas.

Requirements

• To have served at least 180 days in any of the U.S. Armed Forces.
• To be within 180 days of separation or retirement from any of the U.S. Armed Forces (you may start your application prior to the 180 days).
• Must be on track to receive an Honorable Discharge.
• Must have taken any service TAPS/TGPS.
• Must have attended or participated in an ethics brief within the last 12 months.
• Must have command approval to participate in the DoD SkillBridge program.

Nice To Haves

• An active DoD security clearance.
• DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II certification or higher (Security+CE, GSEC or similar).

Benefits
