About The Position

PeopleTec is currently seeking a mid-level AMP Field Service Representative (FSR) to support our Huntsville, AL Redstone Arsenal (RSA) location. Under limited direction, the AMP FSR is responsible for optimization of a customer's energy program's metering and control systems, and for training Energy Specialists on those systems. The FSR works with Facilities and Maintenance Directors to address mechanical and control issues for buildings. People First. Technology Always. Requirements

Strong written and oral communication skills, detail-oriented, strong organizational skills
Proven ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
Excellent attention to detail and diligent adherence to deadlines and deliverables
Experience with MS Office, Excel, Word, Visio, and PowerPoint.
Travel: 30 % (CONUS & OCONUS locations)
Must be a U.S. Citizen
An active DoD Secret clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Secret clearance upon hire and to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.
High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field preferred.
Eight years of related work experience required (please indicate in your resume your expertise with the highlighted sections from the Required Skills/Experience Section above).
Must be able to travel and lift up to 20lbs.

Field service experience, preferably with the following programs/software: Metasys, Niagara, Rockwell Factory Talk; Tridium; Schneider Electric: Powerlogic/Struxureware; Siemens: Apogee; Ignition: Inductive Automation; Eaton Networks; Field Servers; Jace Controllers; Bacnet.
Ability to integrate Sensors, peripheral devices
Ability to program Points and Tags in the HMI.
Ability to update firmware updates on devices

Responsibilities

Provide customer support and work with project engineers, other system engineers, and end users to develop cost-effective methods for an efficient Utility Controls design and system solution.
Work with essential/key team members to understand their systems requirements to ensure the correct IP infrastructure, points list, critical alarms, and scaling set points are integrated as designed.
Properly addressing TCP/IP networks and RS-485 communications across multiple protocols, including BACnet, Lon, Modbus, and others.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve onsite issues.
Ability to act independently and to coordinate the work of other employees and contractors on a customer site.
Knowledge/understanding of Utility Control Systems.
Understand electrical and mechanical schematic diagrams, control diagrams, prints, building operations, and electrical theory.
Knowledge of ICS, SCADA, BMS, PLC, and Metering systems and how they operate.
Follow QA procedures to ensure quality control performed by others is properly implemented throughout projects.
Write detailed daily reports pertaining to job site milestones
Perform inspections and testing of Utility Control Systems to ensure proper functionality
Coordinate project work internally within the department and externally with other departments to ensure all projects are completed on time.
Provides on-site system assistance on a commercial or military system
Provides technical assistance with daily operations, system upgrades, and preventive maintenance for these military systems.
Resolves operational and technical deficiencies within the system.
Monitors daily system operations, ensuring system performance and data requirements meet specifications.
Identifies, orders, receives, and tracks parts.
Updates, refines, maintains, and delivers training material.
May serve as a technical liaison between corporate departments, government customers, vendors, and others.
May provide leadership to lower-level employees.
Additional duties may be assigned based on customer or contractual requirements.
