We are currently searching for an ASC Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at our Mallard Creek Ambulatory Surgery Center location. The ASC Registered Nurse (RN) will exemplify our organization's values of Quality, Teamwork, Service and Community. Demonstrated technical expertise in orthopedic peri-operative nursing and clinical care. This individual will also be responsible for the coordination of the telephone pre-admission assessment process for patients in the ASC environment.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing, College or University.
• Current License/registration by NC as a registered Nurse.
• At least two years' experience in either ambulatory experience required.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications.

Nice To Haves

• PACU experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Function as a team member in an ASC environment through cross-training to other primary areas including assisting with turnover and all other aspects of day-to-day ASC operations.
• Coordinate the telephone pre-admission assessment process for patients in the ASC environment.
