The Ambulatory Service Representative III - Clinic Support role is a full-time position focused on providing comprehensive support in a medical office environment. This position involves performing various tasks such as financial reviewing, patient service representation, and managing appointments and medical records. The representative will also be responsible for ensuring excellent customer service and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.

  • Perform detailed job requirements of a financial reviewer, patient service representative, PBX operator, appointments clerk, and/or medical records clerk.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned by the site manager.
  • High School diploma or G.E.D required; Associate or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • A minimum of 2+ years medical office experience, including face-to-face customer service, cash handling, patient registration, appointment scheduling, and medical billing.
  • Experience in answering a multi-line telephone system.
  • 1+ years KSC Experience as an Ambulatory Service Representative II preferred.
  • 3+ years of working in a physician, hospital, or medical office environment preferred.
  • 2+ years of insurance/managed care experience, including insurance verification and understanding different insurance plans.
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and web/Internet.
  • Epic experience.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish communication skills (oral and written) preferred.
