About The Position

The position involves building and maintaining complex outpatient scheduling templates within the scheduling software system at Children's Mercy. Requirements

• Associate's Degree and 3-5 years experience in a relevant field.
• Cerner experience or equivalent computer programming experience.
• Customer service experience, preferably in a call center environment.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Alternatively, a high school diploma with 5-7 years of relevant experience may be accepted.

Responsibilities

• Create/Re-design complex scheduling builds for outpatient clinic scheduling.
• Communicate with clinic staff, nurses, and leadership daily for enhancements and maintenance of complex scheduling builds.
• Ensure communication is patient/parent friendly and incorporates Services Excellence behaviors.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.
