This role is accountable for providing and coordinating competent, evidence-based care along the care continuum, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The supervisor provides leadership, management, and oversight of nursing practice and clinical care delivery, ensures adequate staffing and resources, and supports personnel management within the ambulatory setting. This position plays a key role in problem-solving, maintaining compliance with policies, and fostering a safe, efficient, patient-centered environment. The nurse adheres to the ANA Scope and Standards of Professional Nursing and the Code of Ethics for Nurses with Interpretive Statements. ________________________________________

  • Provide leadership and oversight for clinical practice within the ambulatory setting.
  • Coordinate staffing, resources, and personnel to support efficient clinic operations and high-quality patient care.
  • Support staff development, problem-solving, and performance management for clinical team members.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory standards, and best practice guidelines.
  • Promote a culture of safety, quality, and professional growth.
  • Maintain knowledge of procedures, equipment, and supplies relevant to the clinical area.
  • Support legal and ethical standards related to patient care activities.
  • Associates of Nursing (ASN) required.
  • Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Graduate of a nationally accredited nursing program.
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Other advanced life support certifications may be required per department policies.
  • Two years of clinical experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of clinical procedures, equipment, and supplies.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple functions for a group of patients efficiently.
  • Understanding of legal implications related to nursing practice and patient care.
  • 1 year of demonstrated leadership experience in a clinical setting (e.g., charge nurse, team lead, or supervisory role)
  • Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Two years of clinical experience preferred.
