About The Position

Great opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician professional to work in an organization that focuses on treating the whole person, physically, emotionally and spiritually. The Pharmacy Technician will primarily support a centralized prior authorization clinic in West Michigan, MI. Pharmacy technician support involves resolving and appealing prior authorization claims from Trinity Health Medical Group. The technician may also support other ambulatory pharmacy clinics as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum High school education or equivalent.
• Licensed as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Michigan (LPhT).
• Nationally certified as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT).
• Minimum One year of pharmacy work experience.

Nice To Haves

• Preferred completion of formal pharmacy technician training program.
• Prefer experience in multiple healthcare settings.
• Prefer previous experience working within multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Support a centralized prior authorization clinic in West Michigan, MI.
• Resolve and appeal prior authorization claims from Trinity Health Medical Group.
• Support other ambulatory pharmacy clinics as needed.
