About The Position

Pharmacist ensures the safe effective and financially responsible use of medications by providing optimal drug product selection dosage regimen design effective administration and drug therapy monitoring services in the Medical Center. About the Department Located at 1725 Discovery Dr., Suite 200, Charlottesville, VA 22911, UVA Specialty Pharmacy supports patients with complex and chronic conditions including cancer, HIV, cystic fibrosis, multiple sclerosis, and transplant-related therapies. Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree required
  • Experience: No experience required
  • Licensure/Certifications: Commonwealth of Virginia State Board of Pharmacy License. American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required.

Nice To Haves

  • Education: Pharm.D. from an ACPE accredited College of Pharmacy
  • Experience: None
  • Licensure/Certifications: Commonwealth of Virginia State Board of Pharmacy License. American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required.
