Reporting to the Pharmacy Supervisor - Ambulatory Pharmacy, you will perform various pharmacist functions pertaining to Ambulatory Pharmacy. Some of these functions include: Supporting the Pharmacy Supervisor in ensuring compliance to rules, policies and regulations Overseeing support staff Performing medication dispensing activities and clinical pharmacy program optimization to deliver outstanding patient care Cultivating and modeling a collegial, professional, cooperative relationship with pharmacy staff, medical professionals, support, and administrative staff Demonstrating effective, innovative problem-solving Adapting to the challenges of a rapidly changing health care environment Advancing a patient-centric focus to treat illness with integrity, innovation, and commitment UCLA Health is a world-renowned health system with four award-winning hospitals and dozens of primary care practices, specialty practices, urgent care centers, and other ancillary locations throughout metro Los Angeles. Requirements

• current California Pharmacy licensure
• PharmD degree
• Strong communication, organizational, prioritizing, and follow-through skills
• Knowledge of clinical, ambulatory, specialty, transitions of care and dispensing workflows
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
• Certification for Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery with Applied Practice

Nice To Haves

• CSP or equivalent board certification preferred
• Advanced Practice Pharmacist (APh) licensure is desirable
