Work Hours: Full-time, 80 hours biweekly Day shift No weekends or holidays Job Overview: An Advanced Pharmacy Technician - Ambulatory Infusion plays an essential role in the medication use process in our TriHealth Infusion Center Pharmacies. The technician assists pharmacists in providing safe, accurate, and timely medication distribution and pharmaceutical care within the Infusion Centers. The Advanced Pharmacy Technician is responsible for the preparation of sterile compounds, including chemotherapy/hazardous medications, drug and supply inventory control, and continuous monitoring the sterile compounding area for compliance, providing timely remediation, alerting leadership to any identified issues. This position requires a proactive approach to maintaining high standards of pharmaceutical care, compliance with regulations and standards (USP 797, 800, NIOSH), as well as a commitment to quality care and patient safety.
