We’re seeking an experienced Infusion Nurse (RN) to support patients in an infusion suite and other care settings as needed. This is a per diem role. With our location in Anchorage, AK Why This Role Matters As an Infusion Nurse, you’ll play a critical role in delivering safe, patient‑centered infusion therapy while helping patients feel informed, supported, and confident during their care.

Requirements

  • Active RN license in the state of practice
  • Nursing degree from an accredited program
  • IV certification and experience with central line management
  • 2+ years RN experience (home infusion, critical care, ED, or similar preferred)
  • CPR certification and valid driver’s license
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a care team
  • Willingness to travel locally to support patients

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • PICC/Port/Midline certification
  • Multi‑state licensure

Responsibilities

  • Insert, monitor, and discontinue IVs, including central line (PICC/port/midline) care
  • Administer infusion therapies, medications, and blood products as prescribed
  • Monitor patient response, obtain vital signs, and perform assessments
  • Educate patients and caregivers on infusion therapy and IV care
  • Perform venous phlebotomy as needed
  • Complete accurate clinical documentation and nursing notes
  • Coordinate schedules and communicate with patients, families, providers, and care teams
  • Maintain compliance with safety, ethical, and regulatory standards
