We’re looking for an energetic, team-focused Ambulatory Clinical Technician to join our growing orthopedic practice. In this role, you’ll support a collaborative team of orthopedic surgeons, advanced practice providers (APPs), and non-operative orthopedic physicians in providing high-quality care to patients with a variety of musculoskeletal conditions. Ability to travel between Holland, Grand Haven, and Zeeland clinics as scheduled. We do operate as one with the Grand Rapids clinics and there may be times when asked to travel to a GR based location, this would be rare but could occur based on patient volumes and providers in clinics. About Outpatient Clinics Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve. There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices, which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area. Scope of work Acts as a team member in the delivery of quality patient care under the supervision of a Provider or Registered Nurse (RN) in the examination and treatment of patients to facilitate clinic flow and provide excellent patient care. Performs basic skills per department guidelines and policies; communicate observations to members of the health care team. It will also include rooming patients, collecting vitals, and assisting in minor office procedures. Maintain accurate electronic health record documentation. Processing FMLA and short-term Disability work. Answering phones. Assist providers in orthopedic clinics across Holland, Grand Haven, and Zeeland.
