Responsibilities

  • Provide distributive, clinical, consultative, and administrative pharmaceutical services.
  • Select and dispense drugs, medicines, and other therapeutic agents.
  • Interpret prescriptions and ensure proper dispensing of medications.
  • Maintain records and document patient data, preparing written and oral reports.
  • Request prior authorizations and prepare claims for billing.
  • Provide patient and caregiver medication counseling.
  • Supervise pharmacy technicians and oversee medication preparation.
  • Participate in the training of pharmacy residents, interns, and students.
